“The manufacturing process of single-layer thermoplastic tubes made of polyethylene is carried out in a processing line implementing the following processing steps: extrusion of a tube of a defined diameter and thickness using a single-screw extruder, calibration of the diameter of the polyethylene tube, thermo-shock annealing of the extruded tube material to impart the expected stiffness, cooling of the extruded tube in a bath of water at ambient temperature, drying of the surface of the extruded tube, cutting to size of polyethylene tubes by a linear knife, activation of the surface with a propane-butane gas torch to increase the free surface energy of the tubes, which guarantees proper adhesion to the ink, offset printing, screen printing or flexographic printing of polyethylene tubes, UV curing of the print using a UV lamp, aging of the tubes for final curing of the print.”
